I assume you're looking at the $189.99 EVGA?

Here's a MSI 560 with a dual fan design at the same price: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127592

I'd really recommend the GTX 560Ti though. It's a great card.

How much of an improvement it the GTX 560Ti over the 6870? Enough to spend the extra $40 on?

TBH, if your budget is very close to breaking point then you can compromise: buy an overclocked GTX560.

The MSI 560GTX Twin Frozr II/OC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127593 is a great choice.

It sits two spaces below a regular 560Ti on most benches (a GTX470 sits one space below) and for only an extra $10.

There's something to think about. Plus the OC 560 performs just above the 6870.

If you can't spring for the 560Ti, then go for the 6870, or totally cheap out and get a 460 that you can O/C like crazy.

Yeah, I can't decide between the 560Ti and the 6870...I'd prefer the 560Ti, of course, but trying to justify the extra cost. Choices, choices...
