Best bang for my buck? - Page 2

I 'd tell you to get a Radeon 5850/6850 or gtx 460. At that price point, they are all strong contenders. Hell, at that resolution you could even go with a 5770/6770/6790 without a problem.

I just sold my GTX 460 1GB for $105 shipped. You can find the same price on Newegg Open Box or Recertified.

Good point, I was looking at new prices. There's recertified GTX 460s on Newegg for $105-110 shipped right now, I hope there's still some there when I get my money. Thanks!

Np, they're great cards, you won't be disappointed... unless you have to RMA a bad card. wink.gif

A 5770 Would probably run everything at medium/high setting at that resolution, i had 2 of them icfx and i could run every gsme at max def at the same resolution. I live in brasil where choice can be limited sometime, so here a 5770 is stilla very viable option as it's still a very good card.

Does anyone here realize that you can get a HD 6870 for $139?

At under 150$ new, a 6870 is one of the most powerful card you could get.

Thanks for the suggestion but rebates don't help if I don't have the money to spend in the first place, if I did my budget would be higher. And I'd rather spend $40 less for a re-certified 460 that will be more than fast enough for me anyways.
Unless you can find something either better than the 460 for the same price or something about the same for cheaper, I am satisfied with it.
