AX850 Pcie Cables

Hi,

So looking for a new psu for my new system.
Does anyone have a AX750 or AX850? From what I have read, that the PCIE cables have two 6+2pin connectors on them
So 8 Wires per connector, but the cable that plugs into the PSU end has 12 pins on it.

Does anyone know how these cables are wired? As i am looking at doing single brand sleeving.

I also have one and I believe it's 8 wires (8 pins on either side).

Ahh im Confused

Corsairs site says:
Qty Length Conector/Cable
2 600mm 2 PCI-E Cable

So 2 Cables, 2 pci-e connectors per cable.

this site says:
Here are our two PCIe power cables. Each has a 6-pin and 6+2-pin PCIe power connector. Instead of doing the usual 550mm of cable, one connector and then a second connector 150mm later down the line, the AX850 employs two 600mm coming out of one connector. This means that if you only use one of the two connectors, you have a 600mm long cable that you need to hide.

Then you and tech powerup say:http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Corsair/AX850/2.html

The AX850 has four PCIe connectors in separate cables so it can support up to two hi-end VGAs.
