What FPS do you guys get in CB ? With my sig rig, it drops to 55fps, and average is about 70-80 fps (1680/1050, all to ultra, 4xAA, HBAO on, etc).

Want to compare with ppl who have a similar set up as mine.

So what, some people nagged, it was because they thought, and i agree, that a TRUE battlefield map should have been included from the beginning, Metro is not a true battlefield map, Caspian Border is perfectly good at representing Battlefield in its true form. DICE added it, made ranks of people happy, why is that so frustrating?

Well, I get 40-60 fps with dips to 30s. Beta 285.38, 1440x900, ultra, 2xMSAA, HBAO, motion blur on.

This should have been the map from the beginning. Metro plays like a COD map and lacks vehicles.

again... a beta is NOT a demo... devs can beta test whatever the heck they want...

you have NO SAY in what should or shouldn't be in a beta as it's not a demo

a demo is to promote the game... an open beta might look that way but it's not... "beta" is the near release version to iron out all the bugs and glitches... if DICE thinks Metro is appropriate to do that, then Metro is the map to do so...

or else they would make it a "mutiplayer demo" THEN you can have your say on why it was a bad choice

Map was unplayable when I was on it. People kept saying "it's a stress test"-- yeah, well, list that in the game description, then. I don't want to be part of a stress test where I stutter, lag and clip my way around around a map before being magically teleported into the enemies base and begin getting raped by the huge AA gun in the corner for 15 minutes, then I begin to spawn, along with my entire team, into the enemies base for the rest of the match.

That was just horrid.

Maybe DICE figured it was time to beta test a map with more variables now? I like how you assume whining in the community caused them to release this map when in reality, you have no idea.

Questioning why the original beta map didn't have vehicles or traditional Battlefield characteristics is valid though, free open beta or not.
