Is this switch worth it?/RMA

Thread Starter
I was originally going to get this video card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150560

But i assumed that a pci-e 2.1 card wouldnt work in a 2.0 slot.
My noob is showing on that one.
So instead i bought this card.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161315

Now that i know the first card IS compatible, i'm considering RMA'ing the His for the original card. How much of a performance difference am i going to see by switching? And i'm not too sure how to go about the RMA process, never done it before.

750MHz and 320 Stream Processing Units vs 850MHz and 800 Stream Processing Units....

You do the math!

Not only that the 6770 has support for DirectX 11, and you've also got GDDR5 RAM on that 6770.

Yeah if you can switch than do. DX11, over twice the stream units, and higher clocks... its a no brainer.

Heres some pretty little bar graphs to give you an idea of the benefits.

2.1 will work fine in 2.0 slot, it will just run at 2.0 bandwith which is plenty for any current card on the market
