Looking to buy two additional monitors for eyefinity

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone could help me find the perfect set of monitors to create eyefinity.

Im currently running off a Samsung 27inch P2770
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001431

What im looking for is smaller monitors (perhaps in vertical mode) to flank my Samsung to get eyefinity for gaming.

Does anyone have any idea on what size I would need to make this setup possible?

The Samsung has a 1.5inch bezel so I would need one that has a very thin Bezel.

Also would you guys know if its even possible to have different size monitors for eyefinity? or would they all have to be 1920x1080 for it to work.

I wouldn't mind having 1080 on my Samsung and a lower resolution on the side monitors as long as everything looks even, but then again Im not sure if it'll display properly when I game. Mostly CallofDuty.

Thanks guys!

Oh and I would love to have two additional P2770s yet the Bezel is pretty wide and overlapping would create problems for my deskspace which is limited.

I think its possible using a little software that is free, SoftTH. Basically, instead of doing it via hardware, is done via software, so there's an small delay on the third monitor (if you ever add one).

if you match resolutions: eyefinity
If you don't match resolutions: SoftTH

for 27 inches, you might be using like 17/19 inches perhapS?

I know 15/17 could match a 24inch
20inch matches 30inch

Even softTH is somewhat limited in options. And the whole software is a PITA to get configured properly, and it is limited to dx9. I'm definitely suggesting against that

I do actually think identical monitors are the best for eyefinity. But if you'd like something else, look at asus monitors 27" @ 1080p. Those are the best in the cheap section for your purpose here.

And razor. Whether or not a monitor matches a larger monitor in portrait mode next to the larger one, depends on the aspect ratio as well as size.

Hmm thanks guys I did not know all of this.

I have a spare 17inch samsung downstairs which ill compare to this 27inch.

I know that 24inch monitors that are 1080p fit horizontal 19inch monitors.
