Worst thing that sucks is, that I need an AM3 CPU to flash my BIOS...
Now I'm here trying to figure out what cheap CPU to buy so I can update my BIOS, since all my friends are either Intel fanboys or socket AM2 users...
My D3 won't have a Bulldozer sitting in it soon :\\...
My guess is that this is necessary, since the Bulldozers being released have a different stepping from the ones given out to motherboard companies for testing.
Could be wrong tho....

Good point sir! Rep+

From the link you provided:

F6E - 2011/10/06 Update AGESA 1.1.0.0 code

F5 - 2011/08/31 Update CPU AGESA 0.0.9.2 for AM3+

F4 - 2011/08/29 Update CPU AGESA 0.0.9.1 for AM3+

F3 - 2011/05/17 Update CPU AGESA rev0.0.7.5

They have been updating the CPU AGESA since May, and only now has it passed from 0.0.x.x, which seems like beta or even alpha status (two zeros), to 1.1.0.0.

AMD Sempron for $29

Alot (most?) of these unlock to dual core chips as well.

Part # with a heatsink only costs $10 more.
