I wonder what parallel universe he came from?

After 3870, 4870, 5870, 6870 I thought bad drivers were the norm until switching to this 580 in January. Now I know the grass is greener.

Not saying Nvidia dosen't have any issues, but compare track records, you got it reversed with that statement.

Guess we go by our own experiences.

Here is a final conclusion from a review 6950 vs 560Ti that pretty much concludes that there is no difference between 1GB VRAM and 2GB VRAM in current games under 1920x1080p resolution back in January.

I'll say that VRAM in games are increasing but I'm not convinced yet until multiple monitors come into play will there be grave differences. When it does not even 2GB VRAM will be enough at that point on multiple monitors.

The 560Ti SLI option is a great combo I will concur.

The only review that was done was the Palit 2GB GTX 560 Review but not the Ti version from Maximum PC in May.

No he's right to a degree. The 270 and the 280 series up to 285.something were total crap and I had a TON of people come to me with driver problems.

Also I've worked with ATI 4650, 4670, 4870, 5770, 5850, 5870, 6790, 6850, 6870, 6950, 6970. Well I've worked with pretty much all of them anyway I've only had a few driver problems with ATI/AMD and a fresh windows install always cleared them up for me. Same with Nvidia though I alway's had to go back to 266 drivers.

They both have their problems but with Nvidia back on track with their drivers(I hope) they are pretty even.

I noticed yesterday that Crysis 2 completely maxed out memory bottle-necked my 5970 2gb (1gb + 1gb). It would constantly go sub 25 fps in dense areas at 1080p. My 2gb 560 ti and 2gb 6950 never had that issue.
