Oh I didn't say I didn't believe him at all. Just that CPU-Z is bugged. 4GHz for a 2600k is like 60mph in a Ferrari

I'm still wondering: when does CPU-Z show you 1.08V? It looks like an idle voltage to me.

Only for Gigabyte boards (it reads VCCIO/QPI VTT voltage- I think Gigabyte calls it that and not VCCIO- instead of CPU vcore)

How's this for a low volt OC? 1000% stable

Using Gigabyte's tuning tool, I idled at 1.36v. Load was 1.42v. CPU-Z thought I was at 1.08v the whole time.

Isn't bugged on my Asus board, nor have I read anything about it for other branded boards. All I know is Gigabyte reads VCCIO/QPI VTT voltage instead of Vcore, that I'm 100% sure of.

proof: http://www.funkykit.com/component/co...d.html?start=4

Quote:
Not really much to see here, it's a standard i7 2600K. Only thing of note is that bus speed being 100.3, that ensures the CPU is at or over it's rated speed. Due to a bug in CPUz the "Core Voltage" box actually lists vccio/vtt.
And it's not a bug in CPU-Z, Gigabyte boards have a different register location for the vcore which is pretty silly since it works with every other board.

No, has nothing to do with chipset. It's just for Gigabyte 1155 boards, regardless of chipset.

Good to have all that cleared up. Can all 2600k's use a 57 multi?

And I have the Z68, cpu-id reads the same voltage as my asus tool.
