Called MS up and now i cant use my account up to 6 weeks until they solve this mystery. sucks but oh well. i cancelled/changed my cards and changed all my passwords.

SO how is this possible?

Don't! Worry, Besides the stupid paperwork from the CC company. After they solve "the problem" go to your download history and everything they bought you can get for free! I know because one time I got hacked and they charged 229$ on my CC and I filed fraud and they let me keep all the stuff + 1m XBL.

That could have very well just been an oversight by Microsoft. I wouldn't expect the same results over and over in a situation like that.

Ya, it was with an email that I've had for over 10 years now and haven't checked in about 4 lol. Not sure how that could have allowed them to get the password though? But it was orriginally just the one email. When I started the process to get the situation taken care of, there was one email I could see (that wasn't any of mine) then when I was talking to the customer service rep, there was yet another one linked (spanish name in the email...was interesting lol).
