Finalized New i5 Build.. 3 Questions Left..

Here is what i have so far:

CPU: i5 2500k

Mobo: Asus P8Z68 Pro or Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H or Z68X-UD3P or Z68X-UD4

Ram: Corsairs Vengence Blue or Black (2x4gb)

SSD: Intel 510 120GB + 1tb caviar black

PSU: Corsair GS600

Vid Card: gtx285 (my old card)

Case: Fractal Design Define Mini

3 Questions:

1) which Mobo would you recomend? what is the diff between these 3: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H or Z68X-UD3P or Z68X-UD4? which Gigabyte Z68X's have its own internal vid card like the p8z68? the only reason i have the gigabyte up there is because of the all black look.

2) is a 600w (gs gaming) PSU enough power?

1 ram has minimal performance difference from one to another. and its not the best, ripjaws x, kingston hyper x and patriot viper xtreme d2s all bench higher

2 not sure about the case, take a look at the antec performanc one mid towers. keep ambients low, and have great airflow. i got a p193v3 new off ebay for $70

3 600w is enough for the system now, what GPU do you plan to upgrade to eventually.

1) i would rather different ram as i don't like the bright red look of the ripsaw.. any other recomendations?
G.skill RipJaws "X" series 8gb 1600mhz is very good RAM, I would choose the Blue heatspreader edition for your Asus motherboard as the slots and sinks are blue

2) which case should i get? i want a smaller sleek case, but will the lian li a05 move enough air without a top vent/fan for the gtx285 (i don't want to have to modify the case at all)?Corsair Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T

3) is a 600w PSU enough power? I would splash out and buy the Corsair TX650 V2

I just purchased that corsair set, and yes it's similar. The difference is a cas latency of 1 for a price increase of $15. It's a pretty minimal upgrade overall, you most likely won't notice it.

Here's some benchmarking that has multiple different cas latencies for each speed:

3 Questions:

1) i would rather different ram as i don't like the bright red look of the ripsaw.. any other recomendations? leaning towards the corsairs vengence blue.

1) Those blue Ripjaws @ 1600 would be a good but for a nice blue scheme or these which are a little faster would work great

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231460

2) case is purely preference, but if you are looking for a nice quality mid sized tower, then lian li is the way to go

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811112239

or a cool looking corsair, antec, really anything that you like...post it and we will tell ya if it fits (which it will)

3) 600 is well more then enough if you are looking for a modular this one will get the job done and will be enough for an upgrade to a 580 or more in the future

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139012

otherwise a 650 TXv2 would work fine

Obviously you want a small case so I don't know why people are suggesting bigger mid towers.

I've had both the A05 and the Mini and they are both amazing cases. The lian li quality is un-touchable but the mini is definitely a better performer in cooling. The 285 is going to be a squeeze in the A05 to begin with.

The Arc Mini is the better choice for cooling hands down. You could have a SLi setup in it with no heat problems if you wanted.
