Upgrade Complete :)

So I started out my adventure with the following....

Toshiba 37" LCD
Yamaha RX-V730
Energy Take 5+1's
Comcast DVR

HTPC -
HEC K7 Case
Gigabyte 780G MB
AMD AM2 Athlon X2 5000+
AMD Athlon II
3GB 667 RAM
Seagate 160GB HDD (all media is server based)
LG Super Blu HD-DVD/BluRay Drive
Gigabit Ethernet

In the last few week's I've done some pretty significant upgrading as follows

Replaced the Yamaha RX-V730 with an RX-A800, Added a 2nd Energy XL-S8 Subwoofer, and 2 additional Energy Take 2 Satellites to bring it up to 7.2. Also replaced the Comcast DVR with a TiVo Premiere Series 4 about 3 months ago.

For the HTPC it got a new case, psu, and video card so it's as follows.

nMEDIAPC HTPC 1080P Case
HEC 585W PSU
Gigabyte 780G MB
Gigabyte AMD HD6450 512MB Low Profile Video Card
AMD AM2 Athlon X2 5000+
3GB 667 RAM
Seagate 160GB HDD (all media is server based)
LG Super Blu HD-DVD/BluRay Drive
Gigabit Ethernet

Needless to say this is a rockin setup now, the dual sub's have been amazing, broke in the setup with Transformers 3 and I now know where every single loose or rattle prone item is in the house, funny enough the wife came home while I was watching the movie and was quite upset she could hear it out in the drive way over 150' away from the room Haven't setup the last 2 satellites yet so just running 5.2 but man oh man the experience is so much better than it was before. Can't wait to get the full 7.2 going and get into a house so that we can get this all setup with our projector and 100" screen.

And maybe I can't spot it in all the text, but I don't see what video card you added to the HTPC.

Hehe thanks added the video card, I'll get pictures up hopefully tonight, it's been a crazy week. I have to say at 60bux the new case is fantastic I had to keep a really low profile and ironically it was the exact same height as my old case coming in at 3.9" in height.

The build quality is surprisingly good although you can spot where "corners have been cut" here and there but it's nothing major. It is setup to accept a 20x2 LCD display which I will add later on, but sitting underneath my TiVo it looks like another peice of HT gear which is great, and the wife approves of it lol which is always really good.
