Well I use this for gaming, i've been recently playing battlefield 3, and I noticed when I play on caspian my cpu shoots up to around 75-100% (this is expected), but I know my HDD is bottlenecking my comp, but that doesn't really affect games.

Also, I would like to mention im pretty comfortable overclocking a cpu, but my issue is when i go into my BIOS i don't know what half the things are, im used to my old bios on my old gigabyte motherboard this is what my current bios looks like.

Also that's not my actual bios that's just an image i got from online. My issue is Idk where the multiplier, can any direct me to where it is. Also I can't find it in the manual.

I'm not sure about game play but it will take longer to load than if you had a better HDD or even SSD.

EDIT: Multiplier is CPU Ratio.

Well with mine I just changed the CPU ratio/Multiplier from 16 to 20 without changing anything else and I got a stable 4GHz OC. All CPUs are different though so you might have to everything around to find a sweet spot. That and your CPU isn't a black edition so I think it will be harder to OC I'm not sure though.

Nb speeds are very important on amd chips. Trade core speed for max nb if needed.

I have the same chip and board in another PC and I have it stable at 3.6 on stock volts, that was just by changing the FSB. But you may find your memory may need help to make it stable.
