Is it turned on at the wall biggrin.gif
And on at the back of the PSU!
Did you plug the front panel connections right?
Re-plug all the connections!

Might be you loosened a connection while tinkering. Try unplugging and reconnecting every single plug in the thing taking your time and making sure it is all correct.

Maybe try to use a small screwdriver or somthing to manualy start the PC, by shorting the power prongs on the board, to illuminate the power button being a issue, if still nothing it sounds like the PSU or Mobo is dead?

Did you ground yourself before working on your pc?

It does sound strange, it sounds like maybe you dont have the ATX cable plugged in?
you could try a couple of other things

Remove the power cord at the rear of the PC, then take the battery out of the motherboard & hold down the power button on the case for a few seconds, then wait a couple of minutes & then put the battery back in & try to power on,
or ?replace the battery, although the mobo is new.

or remove all the cables/RAM/GPU.ext from the mobo then reassemble & try to power on,

or the main cause of the issue could be that the mobo has recieved a static shock.
