I'm going to say the problem is most likely your current cooler. If you wanted to replace only your case I'd say that wouldn't fix much. Since you're wanting to replace both case & cooler though, go for it.

I agree with this right here.... Grab a Noctua and some MX-4 and call it good.

MX-4s? No idea what it all means to be honest, I'm a scrub!

Could you supply me with more information? What would I need to replace in my new case (Phantom NZXT).

i have ran an OC'ed i7 920 for 2 years with a push pull from in to out and have never had temp problems. and the h100 is a sealed unit so it is more like an air cooler than water but with water benefits

MX-4 is refering to thermal paste that you place on the CPU.

There's a whole bunch of different thermal pastes available, and a whole lot of argument as to which is the best. In the end, the difference is only 1-4 degrees Celsius or so.

http://www.google.com/products/catal...ed=0CDIQ8wIwAQ

3.5 grams has been more than enough to install 3 heatsinks (and have 50% or more leftover)

Your load temps are incredibly high. crazy!!! almost seems like you have no thermal paste on the cpu.

Since you have 2x GTX 570's, there's reason to go fan crazy on your case. Go for it, and don't forget to have fun and experiment with airflow. Your SLI setup will push a lot of heat.

Thanks for your fast response!

Have you seen the Phantom NZXT? What is your opinion about it? Yeah, the temperature is crazy, no idea why. Perhaps you know a better case? And what CPU-Fan do you think is best?

If money is not an issue get the phantom with a silver arrow or water cool it for better cooling. If money it's a concern then get the phantom with a cooler master hyper evo with two fans push pull

Silver Arrow is a CPU cooler together with the Noctua NH-D14 i think one of the best air coolers around.

Here is the Noctua NH-D14.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...octua%20nh-d14

Also the Cooler Master Hyper is a CPU cooler its a pretty good budget cooler.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103099

Push and Pull means you will have 2 fans on your heatsink 1 in the front that will push air trough it and one in the back that will pull the air trough it and blow if to the back.
