Ah, right. Not to mention 300MB/s isn't even the right range for sequential reads.

Anyhow, I should do a few benches of mine...

+1 for the C300. Had mine for 9 months and no issues what so ever.

I take it the same goes for the M4 120gb version, or...?

I'm asking because I'm looking at switching my Kingston HyperX 120gb with either a M4 120gb or an Intel 510 120gb.

I SO want to get away from the Sandforce.

If anything, it will be faster on the 128GB. 4K is more important though.

****! I got carried away and I won a Kingston HyperX 120GB at an auction from Ebay. Yeah, I already ordered my M4 128GB. So now I'm stuck with one extra SSD(Kingston of course).

Guys do you think I should sell it or keep it just in case the MAYBE one day fix the damn problems?

P.S: Btw I will be running the Kingston on my current rig below since most mention problems are with SBs setups.

I'd say keep it. It's not a bad ssd, I think. Have had mine for a little over a month with no issues.

Use it as a spare drive for gaming. That's what I'm doing with my max iops.

Hopefully they do find a solution someday.

I got my HyperX 120gb on october 5th, and have decided to return it, as I have had nothing but trouble with it.

BSOD several times, and the SSD being dropped by the BIOS 3 times. So I've given up and ordered a Crucial M4 instead. No more Sandforce for me.

I just put my 2 M4s on RAID 0 3 days ago & it almost hit the 30 MB/s on 4K.
