Sounds good. What are you thinking for fan control? I am going to recycle my rheosmart 6, and I did the math. Even with the 18 I have slated for the build, I would only be using half the rated wattage on the fan controller (three fans per knob). So in theory it should work, but maybe I should play it safe and pick up a second unit.

Fans will be controlled with the Aquaero XT and 2 PA2's (may need 3, have to run the numbers still)...Pumps will also be on these.

Did you calculate start up voltage? It's usually different than running volts.

nvm..30w per channel x 6, you will be totally fine.

The reason I went with the XT is because I can break it down by circuit. I can have each rad on a separate circuit and based on water temp and flow, increase either the intake fans rpm or the rad fan rpm based on the appropriate profile. On top of that, I can watercool it!

Aquacomputer is some top shelf stuff. The only thing I don't like is some of their English site is in German and I can't figure out what some of their products do.

Google Chrome auto-translate FTW...

Gotta love German engineering.

FrozenCPU has all of their stuff translated into English..Performance Pc has most of their Aquaero stuff translated also.

Ugh, I miss that case already, but I know she's in good hands. It's a one-of-a-kind M8. Hope your gear fits nicely in there. I'll sub, just so I can watch how she turns out. You've got a lot of nice stuff going in there Tim.

Give her a hug for me.

Thanks for the sub Jason!

As far as an update...No photo update tonight. Still waiting on parts to arrive.
  • Sleeving is here now so there will be a few photos of that tomorrow. Thanks to Nils at MDPC for getting it to me so quick.
  • Some case accessories from Jim at Case Labs are set to arrive on Tuesday.
  • Will be ordering a USB 3.0 front panel header and new power/hdd/reset buttons tomorrow from MNPCTech and Performance PC's.
  • Some of the parts for the watercooling (rads and CPU block) are on backorder with AquaTuning but should ship on the 17th.
  • Aquaero and accessories should ship no later than next Saturday, so I will have those by the 20th.
  • Power supplies will be here sometime towards the end of next week.
  • A few surprises will arrive by about Thursday but you won't see those until used in the build.

In the meantime the goal for this week is to get the case layout finalized, new switches installed, custom faceplate for the USB made, sleeve USB cables, and install the first surprise.

Wow, how much is all this stuff costing you? Lol, I'm not used to the case costing more than the computer...
