BUILD HELP! build under 2K

Thread Starter
Hey all, doing my first PC build, need some pointers and advice, trying to keep under $2000 and looking at doing CAD/Photoshop/Video editiing. I want it to keep me going for the next 3 years. I will be using it also for day job (work from home) so I want it to just keep going! I like my music also, hence the sound card.

Main questions are - best video card??
Power supply right?
How do I pick a case?

Intel Core i7 2600K Processor LGA1155 3.4GHz CPU $325
ASUS P8Z68-Deluxe DDR3 Intel 1155pin Motherboard $308
G SKill 8G(2x4G)DDR3 2133Mhz PC3-17000(F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL) $109
Corsair Force Series 115GB SSD2.5 MLC SSD $179
Seagate SATA3 2TB Barracuda 64mb Cache* $78
Card Reader $15
Sony AD7280SGB 22X SATA OEM DVD RW Black $25
SilverStone ST75F-P 750W Power Supply, 80Plus Silver* $139
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium PCIe, Win 7 PCIE* $99
Cooler Master Hyper TX3*24
Sapphire ATI HD6970 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E*- IS THIS GOING TO WORK?? $359

Look forward to the feedback!

thanks

You want a case with good cable management and good cooling. From what i heard, good cases are the CM CM690 Advanced II and the CM HAF X PSU seems fine. Don;'t know much about them though, but i personally prefer the corsair series, though that might be biased.
What i know, the GPU should work. Also, I think it would be better to use the Crucial m4
