Only irk is when they clearly didn't even test the game with KB/M (cough Dead Space 1), but I find most game types with that issue are better played with a gamepad anyways...
People getting too mad for nothing, you're telling me the game has AUTOMATIC graphics settings (much like BF3 auto mode) so the people who bought it could just play it and not worry?? How crazy a concept.
Yeah, automatic graphics options is great (irony)
Sure they can tell if the game is running at 60 FPS as it should be, and sure they can tell what GPU you have and how much RAM it has etc etc and make a guess. But it won't know how the end result looks, it won't have a clue.
It also won't account for the fact that i think motion blur is a horrible system hog that is only annoying and i would rather have better shadows or particles. Or that i prefer drawn distance over "x" other thing. Sure, have the option there for the newbs or those who don't care ( no offense meant really, a newb is a newb ), but for gods sake just leave in the advanced options too, not like that takes SEVERAL weeks to make and test...
Oh, it also doesn't account for the fact that mouse smoothing is not needed unless the game has a horrible horrible mouse implementation or you have a ball mouse.Edited by AnonUser - 10/8/11 at 3:59pm
