X6 1100T Overclock concerns

Thread Starter
Hello members of overclock,
(I'm overclocking a 1100T @ 4.0gHz)
I had a slight concern that I came across today while I was running the Prime95 tests. After an hour or so, I noticed that my vcore was at 1.525, and then later and 1.572/1.592. When I'm not running Prime95, I'm usually at 1.464V. The temp usually stays between 51-58C. (Usually around 51, with spikes to 58 depending on what stress test it is on). My main concern if the voltage is too high, and how I could lower it. Or is it not able because it is under load?

I have disabled LLC (after some posts suggested it on this site).

My motherboard is the ASRock 890FX Deluxe4.

Here is a CPU-Z post of not running Prime95 (Couldn't get another one with me running it at the higher vcore)

You need to adjust the loadline calibration in the BIOS.

If it makes you feel any better, that's about the same vcore I had to set mine at to get it stable. I'm right under 4GHz, but my FSB is cranked really high and my multiplier is pretty low. so that may have something to do with it. I don't remember the settings other than my memory was running at DDR3-2200ish speeds. Someone else can do the math for you, I don't really feel up to it after getting home from a 15hr day at work

I know you said its disabled but llc is what is raising it. Maybe you disabled the cpu-nb llc. Set it to low or some recommend disabling. I have a little kick in. I have it set to 1.45 and My max volt is 1.512v @4260mhz but usually 1.50v on prime.

Here are the images of the bios screen. I do have the CPU LLC disabled. (It shows 1.4v for vcore because I was changing it to see if lowering it from 1.450 would help this. )

EDIT: After lowering my vcore to 1.425V, it still hasn't changed on CPU-Z. It still says 1.464V idle, and 1.53V+ on prime.

Im not an expert to give a reason beyond llc because when I disable it the voltage doesn't rise, overclocked it will even drop a hair and that's what llc is for to prevent the drop. I would check for any bios updates

Let me ask this then, it is alright at 1.440V idle? When I run video encoding with all 6 cores, it doesn't even break 1.5V (But it appears to only be using one off my cores at 100% and It's around 1.456-1.472V at 34C with 4.0gHz).
So is this safe if I can run prime stable and my temps are solid?
Should the higher VCore at 1.50-1.58V be a concern when I'm running Prime95? What is the max volt that I should absolutely keep it away from?

Well, max safe voltage for 24/7 use is 1.55. So @ 1.5 your fine, and if it spikes up to 1.57-.59 during temporary stress testing then id say your all set there too. Make sure LLC is disabled (you did) and dont stress test too often and youll be fine and dandy. Usually i run P95 for 5 min to see if it crashes, and if it doesnt i play some quick rounds in games to make sure its stable in them, if it is i call it a day.

if you got 58'C it's dangerous for you .. because your max temp is 62'C

But I won't be running a stress test 24/7 (So I'll be mostly in the low 30's, 39C if I'm playing a game on max settings), and I've also been reading that this is a generous safety net for AMD.

EDIT: I've decided to back it down to 3.9gHz and continue testing.
When I run the small FFT's stress test, it is normaly around 58C. With in-place large FFT's, it is a few degrees cooler.
