1. Charge phone to 100% if its possible. If you cant get it to hit 100% let me know.
2. Run the Battery Calibration App.
3. Discharge phone completely. Doesn't matter how you do it, I normally just run a game so I can quickly discharge it.
4. Fully charge the phone to 100% and see how long it lasts on idle. Don't worry if you get emails, texts, etc. It's still idle and check the battery %.
What battery app/widget are you using? I know some actually DRAIN your battery really bad. I'm using the HTC Battery Widget, which I believe does a great job and very low on resource.
It will report 100% after a while.
Going though that process right now. playing tetris................

Make sure to get apps for saving battery life when it's not in use also, and from what I can speculate, Nexus Prime should have good battery life like you said in OP because the Galaxy S2 and Nexus Prime is another flagship phone for Samsung.
I tried Juice defender, and a couple other apps that worked pretty well for my OG droid, but on the TB, they seemed to make it worse.
