If you really need a true 6970 for whatever reasons, maybe it is worth it. Otherwise, with slight overclock to match the true 6970 stock speed, you will see little to no difference in performance.

Hmm okay so I didn't want to go through 8 pages of comments :/ lol Where did you buy this? I want to hopefully get one already unlocked like you or at least one where I am basically assured a successful unlock.

Read what Ken1649 posted about it ... MINE look different than yours because I have the TOXIC card not the DIRT3, and my Card is FACTORY OC'd and volted, comes on an actual HD-6970 PCB w/ 6+8 pin power connectors, etc. so it's already 99.9% of the way to being a 6970 once I Un-Locked the Shaders, while you would still have to do some work to OC your DIRT3 card, to reach those levels.

I know the thread has been left for 2 weeks now, but I did say I would post if my card unlocked.
Well it did. I'm currently working on getting a stable OC past 900/1400 in Trixx. One of my graphics card fans (one nearest the back I think) makes a horrible rattling/scraping noise at 59-64% usage (only) however so ATM i have to skip from 58-65 in the custom fan profile, very annoying.

20G. I've wanted to know what this meant but I couldn't find any information on Sapphire's website, I posted this in my thread (Solved) here.

Thank you if you are able to tell me what 20G/50G mean.

He meant the serial or model numbering of the card. SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) numbering.
