You'll get thermal paste when buying aftermarket coolers. Not with all of them...But all recent ones should have thermal paste included . If not, just look around on google to get some good thermal paste . Try finding thermal paste products on the websites of brands that make CPU coolers, might help out a bit.

That big combo looks like crap to me. I would not suggest wasting any money on that.

You can get better gear all around if you piece together a build using primarily 2-item combos and items with promo code discounts. Also, there is no reason to buy a $130 case for a budget build. Also, you forgot an optical drive. Also, you probably don't need a 600W PSU, and there are equal quality PSUs for less money.

From what I could tell, your original build plan there would have cost about $500 once you threw in an optical drive.

Let me cook up an example for you....

CPU/RAM combo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.745262
Twice as much RAM, Faster RAM, equally good CPU (higher clock offsets lack of L3 cache, and I suspect the stock heat sink and fan included with this Rana CPU will be every bit as good as that cheesy after-market one they were bungling with the Phenom II X3 in that super combo.

MOBO/GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.752018
Full size ATX mobo instead of micro size. More expansion slots, heat-sinks on the VRMs (the one in the super combo is not heat sunk).
The GPU here isn't even in the same league. The super combo you were looking at, had a DDR3 version of a 6570. The 6850 included in this combo, is 3-4X more powerful. No comparison at all.

Case/PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.742876
These are nothing but wonderful products for the money. The case has good cable management and air flow, the PSU has more than enough power for this rig and is well known as a very well build unit.

HD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152185
This is a faster drive with a better warranty

Optical: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106289
since you will likely want one

$499 shipped.

supercombos have always been failures and ripoffs, I'm not surprised...

mdocod's choices are excellent for the same cost as the supercombo. The RG530 is better than the CX 600 V2 for significantly less cost, and the 6850 is so far ahead of the 6570. You may not be getting that Corsair case you want but the balance is so much better. 2-3x the FPS for a lesser case is a fair trade IMO.

I should point out: get the F3 1TB on Superbiiz and use code FALLSALE - save $6

This. Generally they will stick stock thats not selling into a bundle and slightly reduce the price and hope people buy it as a super combo... just wait till the combo ends and you'll likely see price drops on almost every item listed in the combo to below the price the super combo is... Not always, but I've noticed this happens a lot. Shop around, try to get price matches, and talk to Cust service... you can almost always get a better deal

^ I have two links in my sig disproving Supercombos as "deals" now, might interest you to check them out.
I wouldn't really have a clue about those prices in dollars...sorry for any inconvenience They're right that your 'super'combo isn't that great, was in doubt about a lot of things, but I thought it wouldn't hurt that much since it will be used as an entertainment system , it's probably better to go for the more recent hardware though.

I'm not used to newegg either so...maybe it wasn't up to me to give you the advise you really needed. Good luck
