PS/2 to USB converter

post #1 of 5
Thread Starter
I recently changed my mother board to a p8z68 , and i forgot the mobo didn't have a PS/2 connector...so i bought a PS/2 => Usb connector...
everything went fine , the keyboard was recognised and everything , but the real problem comes when using it.

While playing Rage i realised my char would stop while i was pressing the move forward key "W", i had to press the button again for it to react or press any other key to get it going.
Thought it came from the game or something , so i tried it on Minecraft and same thing , when i press a key continuously it would stop randomly like 5 secs after or sometimes 2 secs after...

Can anyone help ?

oh and did some testing , though i may be wrong but this seems to happen only in games. tried it when typing this message and it didn't happen.

Some PS/2-USB adapters are very unreliable, or exhibit some quirky behavior, especially when gaming.

I'd recommend taking a look at Belkin's USB adapters. They are available around the world and work reliably with pretty much anything.

Blue Cube. It solves the world's problems.

Cyberguys Link.
They ship internationally but you can probably find on Ebay France.
