Stability Problem After Format

Thread Starter
I formatted my PC and installed Windows 7 again. Before I format my PC, I could use my 5850 PCS+ at 950 MHz. But after, I can't use it at 860 to 950 MHz. Windows is giving "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" error. What is the problem? My GPU isn't overheating. I deleted all files of driver with Driver Sweeper and installed last driver, but it didn't work.

Default MHz is: 760 MHz

What Catalyst version are you using? Try Catalyst 11.9.

How long was it stable before you did the reformat? It's possible it was unstable the whole time and because you just reformated you thought that was the cause.
