Eyefinity help

At a friends house right now trying to help him set up his Eyefinity on 3 HP monitors not all the same size... One monitor is hooked up on HDMI, DVI, and the other is on mini displayport straight to DVI on monitor. Under the Desktop manager it shows the 3 HP monitors and when duplicating the 3rd monitor is just disappears... Also When trying to create a group it only shows me 2 monitor options instead of 3 monitor options.

If that mini displayport to DVI adapter isn't an active one then no, it will not work because of the clock generator limitations on the amd cards.

Not 100% sure if it's active or not the homie said he went to someplace and asked the guy for a mini active display port to DVI...
