Why would you expect a drop in IPC ? when AMD has been saying IPC increases ?

They're already benchmarks out. What ones are you waiting for? Ones you think will show it performing better? It's over people. Bulldozer is a failure.

Yes, because everything AMD says is automatically true.

Wut?

I said I don't expect Bulldozer to match SB IPC.

I also stated that it would be absurd for Bulldozer to perform WORSE than a PII.

Where did I say anything about them "lowering the IPC"

Right, I'll buy one just to benchmark it myself against my I5

now in the meantime.

Back to reality.

That what we thought at first, but many of us (like myself ) have seen the writing on the wall for a few weeks now and have amended our purchase plans.

At this point, anybody that makes the usual excuses and tries to claim that these results are not representative of retail performance are more than AMD fans... they are delusional.

Do these CPU's have GPU's integrated like Llano?

Because I have Llano in my laptop in the form of the A6 3400 APU, and it scores horribly in benchmarks too. Such as 14Gflops in Linx

But that is because they only stress the CPU, and ignore the GPU, where the real power is (and using AMD's APU resource monitor, you can see the GPU is almost constantly working)

Despite the previously stated, it manages to perform just as well as my cousin's i5 laptop
