BF3-Caspian Border-Crossfire 6990 - Page 3

Beta is a 6 month of source code of the engine they using. Its the fixes from alpha. The point of beta was to test the servers on a large scale. They have said to have a complete whole new engine in the final release. Meaning all the fixes and full featured game. I cant wait! I wonder how 3D will look xD

Whole new engine? I doubt it

Certainly the launch version will have plenty of bugfixes that the beta didn't include, but it's not like they could just swap out the entire engine.

Best of luck on the 6990 with CB. I, too, think its largely a driver problem. Even my 4870 @ stock was artifacting sometimes.
