Thread Starter
hey all, im looking for a gaming monitor in the 100-250 dollar (100-200 euros) price range.

im looking for the following features:
-120hz(if its not possible for that price, then i'll drop the 120hz thing)
-led(same as 120hz)
-22"~24"
-0~5ms response time
-1920*1080

again, if 120 hz or led is not possible in my budget, ill go for some nice 24" 60hz samsung led's i saw yesterday for 150 euros

yes i was looking for 1080p

i've looked around a bit and i cant seem to find a 120hz under 300 euros, which is out of my budget.

I've found the Liyama E2409HDS-B1 to be a good candidate, whats your opinion on this?
-75hz max
-1080p
-lcd CCFL backlit
-2ms response time
-oly costs ~150 euros
Overall the user reviews are very positive and i think that Liyama is a good brand in general, according to the user reviews

Stay away from the Acer GD235hz and hq. It really is an awful monitor and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It has some serious, blatant, unacceptable issues like the noticeable input lag and a weird fuzzy transitions in high contrast areas.

You may find this display in your price range and it may sound tempting but trust me it is not worth it. I don't think that you are going to find a decent 120hz 1080p display in that price range.

This. Unless it's used, you're out of luck.

if you want 120hz..find another $50..or wait for a deal...i've seen the ASUS VG236HE for $280 a week ago..but it seems to have gone up. The only 120hz monitors I recommend are:

Asus VG236HE (glossy)
Planar SA2311W (matted)
Samsung S23A950/A750 (glossy)
