Thread Starter
Can you guys please tell me/discuss which 560Ti is better out of the following:"

Gainward GeForce GTX 560 Ti 2GB Phantom – $299
or
ASUS GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II Overclocked 1GB – $259
or
MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti Hawk 1GB – $275
or
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB – $269
or
any of the others on pccasegear –
(http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...cPath=193_1193)

I have looked around the net but haven't found any comparing those above.
Thanks.

Edit: I will be going SLi later on.

I've heard nothing but good things out of the MSI Hawk, but that 2GB of VRAM does look enticing.... I cannot see what your motherboard is, but if you can support SLI, I would go with the 2GB model and then grab another one if you need it further down the road. It seems from your sig that you do dual monitors, so 2GB will be especially helpful.

Okay, thanks for the help.

Hmm, so either the 2gb or the hawk.
I only game on one monitor the other is just for music/fb, so would that make a difference?

I got the MSI twin frozr II and i couldn't be happier it was my first MSI product and i will definitely buy from them again, they have great service and the twin frozr cooler is amazing (only get ups to 60 degrees when playing Battlefield 3 for a couple hours). The hawk has the twin frozr III so there is nothing to loose. I was on a tight budget that's why i didn't go for hawk but im happy i got mine for $189 AR (and batman which saved me $49)

I just realized i got a gtx 560 TI for $139, all of a sudden i feel like i stole from MSI

Would the 2gb of VRAM in the Phantom make much of a difference in performance compared to the hawk?

I've been happy with my hawks. They're a well built card. I would agree with coachmark, (a 2Gb card IS enticing!!), I'm sure that either card would work well for you. The hawk editions have a very good cooling solution, which helps if you plan on oc'ing.

Probably for future games, and if you plan on gaming in high resolution (way beyond 1080p. I haven't found a game yet that 1Gb slows down much on, heck, was using a couple 320mb cards before...

Oh and also do you think the CoolerMaster Elite 430 will be able to handle the heat of two 560's (probably OC'd and a OC'd CPU)? I will be getting one 560 then getting a new mobo and second 560 later on when i need it. Or do you think I should spend a bit more and get a better case like the Cooler Master 690 II Advanced?

edit: Just saw the site you linked, I'm guessing you have to order from there?
