If I were you I would get the TFII 2gb and just oc it if you want. My cards run like 64 68 at hottest playing bf3 with a 140mm blowing on them

I'd strongly sugges my vote to MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II 2GB.

If these were out when I was choosing between one GTX 580 1.5GB or two GTX 560Ti's 2GB I'd have paid more to SLI these 2GB versions instead.

Can't complain much though because early 2012 I'll be in SLI 580's instead. Albeit at a higher price but I'll be even more ahead of the curve.

Had I gone 560Ti 2GB I'd already be in SLI though.

But Newegg doesn't ship to Australia, would I have to use a parcel forwarding service?

Or should I just go with the 2gb Phantom?
Hawk v Phantom?

PSU seems like super overkill...also, I think going with a 1GB card's a big mistake. I've personally watched my 1 GB 560 Ti go from smooth to an unplayable mess with BF3 on Ultra. It wouldn't be a big deal, but the game looks MUCH better on Ultra with AA than High without AA. It PLAYS better cause you're not distracted by the zillion jaggies.

That site has a nice 6950 2GB. Get a smaller, 750 watt and use the $ saved for this IMO.

It just seems wasteful to SLI with a 1GB later and still be unable to run BF3 on Ultra...or any other coming game that's going to push the edge.

EDIT: Are you building everything from your sig rig from scratch? Cause I'd like to point out that the board's about 2x more $ than necessary. Also, 2500K > i7 920 provided you won't need the extra 8 threads.

/Sorry for ramble, I'm tired.

I have the Gainward GTX560Ti Phantom 2GB model, and I have to say, it looks great and runs quite cool (never had it over 60°C under load). So I'd personally recommend that.

And when/if you SLI, you'll have the power to run BF3 maxed AND the VRAM to keep things flowing steady.

MSI or EVGA, EVGA has great service, MSI lacks a bit in that field, but the MSIs have awesome cooling usually.
