T-Line or Res

Thread Starter
I'm about to ditch EVERYTHING Thermaljunk in my case. Getting a new CPU block and pump.
Fun part, which way is better, a T-Line or Reservoir? I already know that a res is easier to fill, but I am on a tight budget(truck payments suck) and want to do the best I can afford.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. Can't wait till the Thermaljunk is gone(can we say shotgun targets?)

I have experience using both. The res making it easier to fill is an understatement but the T-line made it easier to drain so I think it's kind of a give and take depending on what you go with.

If the funds just aren't there a T-line is a good option. If you can spare $30 I would suggest the swiftec micro res http://www.aerocooler.com/shop.cart?...od_id=FANSWMR2

That's the res I had and I was surprised by the quality and the amount of mounting hardware you get with it. Whatever you go with, make sure to mount it right before the pump and elevated to take stress off the pump. Good luck!

Well maybe go for a pump/res combo and it will save some room, A rasa kit is most likely the best bet for you as its all good quality parts.

Which antec case is it?

I can't remember the exact model of it, but here's a picture of it(and current setup, for now).

This morning, cut a few holes at key points around the MB so that I could hide the cabling behind in. That looks better, now if only I had a better setup.

As soon as the truck is payed off, I will be building a whole new rig. Had to choose between being able to work(down payment on the truck) or a new comp. Truck won
At least this time, I have a truck that I can fix much easier(and cheaper).

I guess the truck also gets you out to those spots where you can use that fly rod I spot in the background

As well as the rest of the rods on the rack, and(thankfully) can make me money pulling others out of ditches in the winter. Knock on wood, but I haven't gotten stuck yet.
