Windows doesn't recognize my processor?

Thread Starter
I realize this may have been posted before and if this is in the wrong place please feel free to move it but I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I'm using an AMD Phenom II X2 550 on a FOXCONN A74MX-K motherboard and windows doesn't recognize my processor at all.

I've already got the latest version of my BIOS (813F1P06 afaik) and I've tried multiple windows installations all which say the same thing.

Some screenshots http://i.imgur.com/DTgKH.png http://i.imgur.com/SpQhQ.png http://i.imgur.com/h9NFF.png

If anyone has any ideas as why this is happening, please share.

The latest BIOS for your board is 813F1P09. Update to that version and try again.

Also I've noticed that your CPU voltage is way off, it should be 1.325v default.

Really? I've not messed with the voltages since I got it from my friend, but I think he might have. And can you link me to this BIOS version? I cannot seem to find it on their website.

Ok so I've successfully updated my BIOS from a flash drive and huzzah! windows now shows my CPU correctly http://i.imgur.com/OuKRB.png I've also ajusted the voltage down to near stock. Thank you for telling me about the new version, apparently it didn't show up on the foxconnchannel website, but on foxconnsupport it did. +rep.
