Does FTWPC do customs ?
I've owned an ibuypower, it wasn't too terrible. The board and psu were pretty awful though. Is just hate to see anyone pay more than is needed.

If you are in Canada, you can use NCIX to purchase your parts and they can build the PC for you for an additional $50-100 or so. You just have to choose the option for them to assemble the PC for you. I think that's your best bet to get the parts you want assembled.

Btw, that video card in your LuComputers build is weak. I would change that to something decent and maybe the sound card to an X-Fi Professional or X-Fi HD.

Edit: I just saw you live in the US. Well, you can still use NCIX to build your PC and get the parts you want, but the parts are slightly overpriced compared to their Canadian counter-parts.

Try: http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/ . The best deal you'll get if you take Mega Special II and reconfigure it to your specs. You get free shipping ($75) and $30 with promotion code ("MYSPACE").

Thread Starter
haven't messed around w/ Digital Storm Online yet -- gonna try that tonight with all these suggestions and see what else I can come up with. I'm definitely liking the idea of having the i7-2600k w/ dual 580gtx's. seeing if I can configure something like that within the $2500 or may be willing to go slightly over :-)

Danzaman, I would suggest thinking about getting an OCN member in your area to help you build your computer and buy parts. You will get much more value for your money doing it this way and Im sure most OCN members in your area would do it for $50-$100 (you will end up paying less in the end anyway)
