The OP's motherboard is PCI-e 1.0.
PCI-e 1.0 x4 has less bandwidth than AGP 8x.
The 5670 performs closely to the 9800GT, so it's not really all that low end.

The PCI-e x4 lanes come from your Southbridge, not your Northbridge (like the x16 lanes), so that may be a problem.
Southbridge lanes are not ideal for graphics cards.

Slowend is right, too.

Bleh combination. Take both of your 1gb modules out. Boot up. Check available. If 2gb restart. Add in a 1gb module. Boot up and check again. If it hasn't increased there's your problem. If it hasn't switch 1gb modules. If it hasn't increased then, there's your problem. If it increases on both it may be a bad slot on your mobo or your mobo may be defective.

Okay, tried it. Nothing new. 2GB works fine. 2GB+1GB works fine, with both. I have also tried different slots, nothing seems to help.

EDIT: According to these guys the chipset won't support 4GB. He has exact same mobo and same problem.

A) Is your PSU adequite or is it chugging by the skin of it's teeth?
B) What cooler does the card have? If it's passive try putting a fan on it just to test.
C) You need a clean dual channel config to run games properly, my FPS shot right up soon as I upgraded to 2x4GB from 1x4GB.
D) What speed is your motherboard's chipset running? That could be bottlenecking things if it's a very low end board.
E) Try testing with a slightly higher CPU clock (3.5-3.8Ghz)

I'm pretty sure the PSU suits (400W). Not much, but nothing too power consuming on my setup either. The GPU has stock cooler by Arctic Cooling on it.

I don't honestly know how to check mobo's chipset speed, and I can't try with higher CPU clock as this motherboard doesn't allow overclocking at all.

It think my low performance is not because of graphics card at all. Because I used ATI Tray tools to display some stuff while gaming.

I noticed that my CPU usage is close to 100% at all times. So it's the CPU probably that is holding me back. Problem is that I think that CPU shouldn't be performing that badly.

For example: Bad Company 2 CPU requirement: Core 2 DUO @ 2 GHz. Mine is Pentium Dual Core 3.2GHz. And yet it lags a lot.

So I just wanted to ask if that CPU is really that bad, or could it be something is holding my CPU back, like my horrible mobo ?

BC2 is a title that runs best on quads. Yeah, the minimum system requirements say a dual core, but a quad will give a better gaming experience.

Have you updated your GPU drivers??

And make sure your BIOS is utd too.

Oh, And BC2 works better with Quad core CPU's.

Take a look at this article... http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/tips0456.html

Yes, GPU drivers and BIOS are both up to date.

sLowEnd, Yes, it runs best on quads. But shouldn't it be running fine on dual cores, with low settings ? Because mine is on low and sometimes it's almost unplayable.

I'm just wondering if my CPU is performing as it should, or am I losing something.

Idk, It should be fine, All that is left is motherboard...

But a mainboard shouldn't effect performance by much
