DisableDeleteNotify = 48

post #1 of 5
Thread Starter
I'm just about finished tweaking my SSD (Crucial M4 64GB) and when I ran "fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify" it reported back "DisableDeleteNotify = 48".

What does this mean?
post #2 of 5
I'm not sure what it means, but I recommend typing fsutil.exe behavior set DisableDeleteNotify 0 to manually set it to 0.
It's a computer!

disabledeleetenotify shows the settings for TRIM. whether it is on or off.

the 48 value is rare, but it has been seen before. No one knows why though. i agree, set it to 0, which is trim enabled.

Did anyone ever figure out what disabledeletenotify=48 means?
I know I can set to 0, but I don't want to change anything until I know what 48 means.

Samsung 840 Pro, WIndows 7 installed using RT7Lite.
Haven't activated Windows 7 yet.

The 48 seems to be common with customized Windows images; the only numbers you should be concerned with tho are 0 or 1, so just set it to 0.
