Artifacting GTX260

Thread Starter
I picked up a artifacting 260 really cheap, figured I didn't have to much to lose. I was just looking over the PCB and noticed this:

Card was never baked, well atleast that is what I was told..

Artifacts I'm experiencing with it, windows reports:

Quote:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
Anyways, anybody have a idea what that is in the picture? It looks burnt and I was wondering if thats what the problem is. Thanks for any help!

EDIT: To clarify, it is a core 216.

I guess you could try to get some isopropyl alcohol and clean the card with it.I would do that and then bake it. Not 100% sure on what that is.

Cleaned it and baked at 400F for 10 mins. Still doesn't work. Same as before.. Should I smell the solder once it flows? I never smelled anything from the oven.

GPU-Z shot. Shader count seem weird to anyone?
