SLI questions- gtx 465's

I recently purchased another 465 in hopes to unlock to a 470 but it seems that it's unstable so I flashed both back to original 465 bios and each card on its own works great..

My question is, does it matter which connector I use the bridge on? Also, is it normal for the second card to not get a 100% load like the first card when sli is enabled?

I seem to be having issues booting into windows when the bridge is on toward the rear of the card but seems ok on the other one. These are both PNY recertified gtx465's with black pcb~ stock 465 bios and settings, both are stable in furmark and occt for an hour on their own, temps are under 75c in sli after 15 mins of furmark (but the second card says 50% load in afterburner)

did you have this problem before you flashed them? Did you try them in sli before the flashing or flashed right away? Did you add more voltage when you unlocked them? Are you using the stock bios or did you download one off the interent? When you do furmark is it with sli and the bridge or without?

I had the one flashed to 470 before and i had to add like .2v to make it stable. I tried the max on the other card alone and it was still artifacting, even with just the shaders unlocked to 448 with asus thing it was artifacting.

I flashed each with a backed up version and tried a couple other 465 bios's I found, same thing happens it doesn't play nice with the sli bridge on the back most connecter.

Furmark multi-gpu with sli bridge and sli enabled. I've tried reinstalling drivers clean install. In l4d2 I notice that in sli the 2nd card usage % is up and down a good bit, into the 60's...
