Well I don't have the issues with battlefield. Just Driver. And Speaking of Battlefield, Im in the mood for that now lol.
well to add to this, Ive been having this problem as well with my EVGA GTX 570 Classified with the latest stable nvidia drivers and with using MSI AB 2.2.0 beta 6. But it seems like it happens with only certain games. Like I continuously have that problem like in Deus Ex: Human Revolution where after awhile, the game will freeze and then turn black. Then, I will hear my graphics card fan go back down to the default speed.

After that, I will have that game and many other games crash within 15 minutes. This happens with Deus ex: human revolution, alice: madness returns, crysis 2, etc. So what exactly is the problem, I am not sure but it seems like the MSI AB that is causing the problem.

Well I guess MSI AB isn't liking the latest Drivers. What I do to make the games work is set my Fan to about 65-75 depending how long I'm going to play and hot hot I'll think it will get. I check up on the temp once and a while using speed fan. Alt -tab and check it. Seems to stay at 55-65c with using 68 fan speed. So I'm happy for now. I just want to play driver campaign. I'm a fan of driver since it first came out hehe. Not bad so far. I hope MSI AB gets fixed soon. =)

Yeah pretty same thing happen to me frown.gif
I cant remember but first time I OC with GTX570 with driver 280.26 and MSI afterburner 2.1.0. Had normal aweek but then that problem happened "black screen but still hear gaming sounds" but there was no pop up icon in toolbar like "Driver has stopped responding..." and I checked afterburner and saw speed back to stock. Now I still run with 285.35beta and MSI afterburner 2.2.0 beta8.
Later I will try 275.33 driver with MSI afterburner 2.1.0 or try what Juano and tjbridge said before in page1 smile.gif

Yea. What i do now to play games that MSI is causing to crash is just set my Fan speed to 70 and hit apply. Then close MSI and the game works and my card stays cool all the time. Msi keeps the OC and settings when you close the Application so im a happy camper with that.

I think it was a bad SLI bridge for me, not afterburner tongue.gif

Hey guys,

I have MSI Afterburner 220 beta 8 running and everytime i try playing driver sand Fransisco it crashes the game. I tried with MSI turned off and it works wonders for hours. I don't mind playing without Afterburner its just I rather have it running for the fan profile and OC I have. Is there a fix to this? or do I have to deal with this?

The beta 2.2 afterburner causes problems for me to -- I uninstalled and went back to 2.1. Will not go back to 2.2 until a non beta version is released

Have you guys still having problems with MSI AB 2.2.0 tried disabling low level hardware access as I mentioned? I haven't had any problems with any of the betas from 2.2.0 beta 4 to beta 8

Ill install Fresh beta 8 and try it again. MSI is even crashing Nvidia 3D vision for me. Anything that deals with or uses 3D vision just crashes with The error "Nvidia 3d vision has stopped working." I turned MSI off and the App's works. Its weird. Im atm just not even using my 3D vision with this issues. Ill try what u said again with a fresh install of MSI and see if it helps.
