Why hello there :)

Thread Starter
I've been hovering around recently and am so glad I found this forum! I recently built my very first gaming rig only last week and loved the process

I'm 16 and from sunny old Scotland, Glasgow to be more precise, and since I'd depleted most of the things I'd normally do during the summer holidays, I decided I'd begin looking into building a PC. So two months later, between going back to school for my last year, 3 advanced highers and plenty of studying, I made my final decisions on the components suggested to me by some experienced people.

Since it was my first build, I decided I'd make a wee blog detailing the whole process, aimed at people who may be thinking about building a PC but still think they are complex creatures summoned from the void of space to melt your mind and shouldn't be tampered with. However, if I can make even one person consider building their own PC, I'll be happy as Larry

You can find the blog at http://cobracustom.tumblr.com

I am considering doing a little bit of case modding (nothing to dramatic) so if any of you guys have good ideas on what I could do to the case, I'd really appreciate your input. So far, my plan is to install some blue interior lighting to match the colour scheme but I was also considering printing my 'cobra' emblem on either the window as a frosting, or the steel as spray paint (or similar) so what do you guys think?

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad there's more of us younger people on here as well, just shows how much simpler building computers has become over the years! I mean, I even managed it, and I haven't been building electronics since I was about 9 when we had this magazine that gave you parts to build two robots haha

Thanks again,
Cobra
