It's not the ultra that will be in retail. That's been confirmed quite a few times by DICE and EA. I'd find you one occurence of it but I'm on my phone .

I run 560ti's in sli and I can run ultra in beta but due to an apparent sli flicker it gets weird sometimes. Overall it's pretty smooth but it does get somewhat stuttery during intense scenes. I have found backing down the shadows and other settings which I think don't make a noticeable difference it run pretty damn smooth. Plus, anything over 60 fps is pointless unless you are running 3d

And based on that you think you can assume ultra will require 1.5GB? If the jump from medium to high is only 927-998 why would the jump to ultra then be 500mb?

Also, I'm guessing but I would say just because something is using all the available memory doesn't mean that much memory is required, reducing the available memory could cause a drop in FPS but that doesn't make it unplayable. (I'm just guessing, I'd love to hear from someone who really knows what they're talking about).
