Switch for folding?

Well, this is more a secondary deal for folding. I have a problem my room is above my router and I need 50 feet of Ethernet cable to get to my computer in my room and right now I have two computers folding and my 2600K setup is in the mail right now and I might buy a Bulldozer rig. Plus I plan on buying the 2011 socket system. I only have have one 50 foot Ethernet cord and don't really want to run three cords to my room. I can't drill through the floor, don't want to buy wireless cards and I can't move the router to my room. I was thinking about just running one Ethernet cord to my room and connecting that to a switch and just hooking up all my computers to the switch. Will my internet speed suffer because I am running my internet through a router then a switch? Also does folding need fast internet speed or is it mainly through the components.

TL;DR
Will my internet suffer if I run it through a router then a switch?
Does folding need fast internet speed?
Is the link a good switch or is there a better one?

Switch I think I will buy, unless someone recommends a better one.

I own that switch. It works great. And it will not affect your internet performance. Its a 1000MB/s switch. Your running at 30MB/s on your internet. Plenty of overhead.

Internet speed for folding only matters when DLing or ULing a WU. Of course the longer it takes to DL/UL a WU the less time you are folding but with your setup you'll be just fine.

Thanks for the reply . Pretty much just answered what I was wondering. I was hoping that it wouldn't bottleneck my speed.
