I consider anything before official release unconfirmed/a rumour for the sake of the fact that final optimizations (BIOS, OS, software) among other things have not been readied, meaning performance may not be representative of the final product.

AMD fanboys are stuck in a drone-contingency. They have been corporate cheerleaders so long they cannot handle the fact that their allegiance hasn't brought them anything worthwhile with bulldozer.

Correct. For all we know there will be some last-minute update that unlocks something... but that doesn't seem likely.

LOL all the hype and all the fanboys screaming "yea, well wait till bulldozer gets here"! and this is what we keep seeing. i hope for amd's sake that all these leaked benchmarks are fake.... because lets face it, if a 2600k @ stock is a bottleneck for 580s in sli, whats the point of going amd with the new nvidia 600s and ATI 7k series on their way, fanboyism is officially not paying off.

on another thought, i again hope that these are wrong. if the BD comes out, and this is what it amounts too. then all of us waiting to make our SB rigs into IB rigs will probably end up waiting even longer, and wouldnt expect to see any competative pricing from intel either.

come on amd step it up

5066MHz with a voltage high frequency power was obtained 1.475va with a minimum of stability. I had full stability at frequencies of 4700-4800MHz, which is nothing like Sandy Bridge where most can run 5.1-5.2GHz stable.
Using the stock cooler? (As stated in test system config)
This guy has got to be joking.
Most Sandy Bridge processors can run 5.1-5.2Ghz on the stock cooler?

Forget stock cooling, 5.2Ghz stable isn't a particularly common OC on any sort of air cooling.

Its funny because i think the opposite. I wouldnt be surprised if the other guys were behind this because of all the hype around BD. If AMDs rivals can deter even 2% of the market to spend money on them before they save it up for BD then thats extra win in their books. And they are a big enough company to pull that off.

This guy is a joke. Most Sandy Bridge processors can run at 4.5ghz-4-7ghz, that's like 500mhz too high.

And that gives them credibility where ? oh, you mean they are the current champions on Intel Hardware ?

Nah, they wouldn't maybe be sponsored by Intel or anything like that. No way ?
