Big choice I have to make re: AT&T's HSPA+ Network

Go with AT&T. HSPA+ actually DOES work!

Hold out for Verizon LTE, because AT&T's HSPA+ is not faster than AT&T 3G!

SPRINT! AT&T's HSPA+ is trash, and the Verizon LTE is not being deployed. Verizon is lying.

Help me out here guys. My contract is up real soon, and I have 3 options.

Sprint - Save $$$ but no 4G rollout for quite some time where I live.

AT&T - I am grandfathered for unlimited data, currenlty has HSPA+ in my area, but LTE is probably 1-2 years away.

Verizon - Will cap me, will probably have LTE in my area within the year. It's just 25 miles away. I think I may even get it at my job!

T-Mobile - No coverage at my job, I'm there too much to choose this carrier.

I'm willing to stay w/ AT&T, as long as the HSPA+ is decent, but I am reading that AT&T's HSPA+ network is less than 15% faster than their old 3G network, because while HSPA+ has potential, AT&T does everything on the cheap.

Can anyone tell me they see a difference between AT&T traditional 3G and HSPA+ 3G ?

In my opinion, the AT&T choice is probably the best one for your needs.

Stay with AT&T. AT&T's 3G in my area smokes Verizon's 3G bad, and my friends has HSPA+ in his area and pulls around 4-8 down. I pulled a 6Mbps down test on my iPhone 4 when I had it in a 3G area. It's taking all that I have to stay with Verizon right now with this TERRIBLE 3G in hopes that LTE will save me soon, If AT&T would just give me unlimited data however, I'd probably switch.

As much as I loath ATT, since you are in the hopes of keeping your unlimited plan that is your best bet of your choices.
