Dragon Age II-Help a lazy gamer out =)

Hey guys,

Just got Dragon Age II and I noticed you can import your character from the first game "Sorry been playing MMO's for a long time and didn't read up on Dragon Age II"

I had the first game on my old HDD with Windows XP and since lost all that switching to Windows 7 back in January.

Is it possible for someone to email a save file from the first? Not sure which file it is exactly.I really do not feel like replaying the first one, not a lot of extra time with a second job.

Apologizes in advance, been out of the loop for awhile. Picked up a second job and now I can afford a little gaming fun.

Hi, your character doesn't port over only the main decisions you made from the first. May as well choose one of the pre made selections as the main decisions from the first and combinations are listed anyway.
Its not like mass effect to mass effect2. DA2 is a new, New characters new story.

dang, so the items/armor I had won't mean anything? If that's the case I'll just start a new character and forget the first game.....thou I did like it =P

Hey guardian the second game is an abomination compared to the first This is just my opinion but alot of my friends and other forumgoers tend to agree with it. Don't expect any continuation or satisfying conclusion to the grey warden story.

I feel the same way. Better to start a character with a different, less meaningful name so it's easier to forget.

That said I think I have a save file of a beardy man who liked to wield two swords and made decisions mostly for the 'good' side but also on a whim.

That's disappointing to read. So's not to spoil the game for me, there really isn't much in the way of the Grey Wardens? It was such a huge part of the first I sort of thought it would have carried over. I may have to replay the first just to get that warm fuzzy feeling back.

I just finished the year long job for the smuggler elf chick. Lol I probably shouldn't be playing this at work =P

This will solve your problems, it generates a loadable save based on your choices.
