This is the best I can do on £700.

If you are going to buy from the same website as I did then go to www.scan.co.uk and in the search bar type in (ignore the brackets and what is in them:

LN27738 (RAM)

LN36731 (CPU)

LN32170 (HDD)

LN37122 (ODD)

LN37704 (PSU)

LN38787 (GPU)

LN37691 (Case)

LN41693 (Motherboard)

I would copy the link to the basket I made but the URL is https://secure.scan.co.uk/aspnet/shop/basket.aspx and that would empty the basket.

Thankyou so much - this comes up with total of under £536. Should I get CPU cooler too? or it doesn't need it? Do I need anything else?

Also - Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2V-B3, Intel H61, S 1155, DDR3, SATA II - 3Gb/s, PCIe 2.0 (x16), D-Sub/DVI-D, Micro ATX
it is £49.93. are micro ATX better or normal one? if normal one is good I have spare 160 should I take that one? if yes then do i have to get bigger Casing?
Is this Good? Asus P8B-X, Intel C202, S 1155, UDIMM, SATA II - 3Gb/s, RAID SATA, Graphics On Board, ATX

Sorry to be such a pain... Thanks in advance

Its not the best motherboard in the world but in that budget its one of the best. If you want to use 2 graphics cards in the future then you will have to raise the budget to at least £770 to include a really good motherboard.

If you are going to overclock it then the best cheap cooler to get is kit you can get on a tight budget is the Corsair H50 this is a water cooling kit. But you will have to fill it which is meant to be a bit tricky (I have never done it before so I don't know) I don't know much about air cooling sorry.

EDIT: If you do want a good motherboard then you will have to have a look at ATX, not micro-ATX. Micro-ATX motherboards are basically for home servers and budget PCs there isn't much you can do with one. ATX motherboards will let you install up to 4 graphics cards up to 48GB RAM, up to 6 (that I know of) SATA things (HDDs, SSDs, ODDs) but like I said they do cost more. The ones that can have up to all those things, you would be looking at spending up to £300 on the motherboard alone.

The Corsair H50 is a maintenance free water cooling kit but a good air cooler will give you similar if not better temps than it.

I am currently using a Noctua NH-U12P to keep my i7 2600 and 2600K cool while folding 24*7.

I found the stock i7 2600/K heat sink and fan not up to the job to keep the CPU cool while overclocked.

Thankyou so much - so what motherboard is it? the name please? as I wanted to get the best base of the PC and in future I would be upgrading as tech keep improving. So I would get the good motherboard and I7 2600k with all the stuff you point out. Do I have to get good Casing too? if yes then will it be full tower? which Tower is good one?

Do you mean even if I do not unclock it I would need Cool Kit?
