Moving a RAID 0 array from SATA 6Gb to SATA 2 ports?

Would doing this cause issues
I will be using two WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200rpm, SATA 6Gb/s, 32MB Cache
While I doubt I will run out of SATA 6Gb ports, I'm just curious about the flexibility of the thing... also can a SATA 2 and SATA 6Gb drive do RAID with each other while in their respective ports?

The motherboard is in the sig.

Yes that's fine you can do that. Just make sure that you have those ports you are moving them too setup for raid.

if you originally setup the board to do raid int he sata 6gb ports then, you try to run it on the sata 3gb ports it may need rebuild (and data gone) due to it being a different controller.

Yea I forgot to mention that, as long as the raid controller is still the same then you should be fine. One sure way is just just make a backup before you do it just in case you have any issues.
