Yeah, that UEFI does look really nice. And gigabyte fails, just make normal heat sinks lol. The fake gun could at least look like a real pistol...

Not really too much I can say about the platform itself but I will say MSI put on a great event, having the people flown in from taiwan was great, gave us the chance to give some proper feedback on the bugs found when going cold etc. I left with a whole new respect for Bios Engineers, the amount of work they do and how fast they do it is a bit mad. Given the boards were a good 6+ weeks from release they weren't too bad

I will say that the memory performance was off the hook as was that fancy new Ripjaw-Z ram Crazy overclocks for a 16gb kit in quad channel

It's nice, the boot device priority you see at the top there is cool, click and slide to change.

Think it's the first properly new take on the UEFI layout and I kind of like it, you are kind of forced to use the mouse tho.

You guys are going to love SB-E

There was a little write up about the event on BT a while ago. http://www.benchtec.co.uk/

After getting familiar with the UEFI on my Sabertooth i would be hard pressed ever to go back, it's definitely a personal want. The MSI board is looking great, i want to see EVGA and Asus' offerings also. Gigabyte with a pistol heatsink bring self defense to a home theater near you
