So for me it will be only a 3930K + mb, cheaper deal than compared to a full new rig.

Considering your options it depends of your use, if it's for mainly gaming + secondary use (like office/ web and so on), stick on SB + IB.
If you need the additional core for CAD/3D/dev/SQL/Video-Audio/Sci and so on, go to SB-E.

My 2 cents
I don't really game, I do a lot of video editing though. I'm leaning towards SB-E, and the 3930K option. Only thing I NEVER like doing is getting things when they first come out. In a few months, better motherboards and steppings of the chips will be released. Then again, it took Intel 10 months to release the 2700K, as the 2600K / 2500K have been pretty dominant.

Can you link me to the RAM you're using?

Ya, so the 3930K is the option, like for me.

here we go : http://ncix.com/products/?sku=57953&...acture=G.Skill

Of course i taken 2 kits of these, running them @ 1.55V (due to the PII overclock) w/o any problem.

Getting the market ready...
When I buy a motherboard I look carefully what its specs, looks, VRM/mosfets and price
I can take up to 1 month to decide on a motherboard
But it seems that this is just my thing...

Yeah that is what I do as well. Plus it should be backward compatible with SB.
