I'm surprised you were able to find a good used one for $180. The cherry picked good overclockers usually have a price premium. Most used ones that I've heard of are bad overclockers, which is usually why the person is selling it.

How did you find the one that you got? On here or on ebay?

Also, if you have a Microcenter near you - you will save a ton. You can get a 2500k for $150 and a Mobo (that will work with IB) for like $60 after combo deal/rebate.
EDIT: lol, looks like my local MC sold out of i5 2500k..not showing up on website. People must of went crazy with that $149 deal.

Sadly there's no computer stores within a 200 mile radius of my house, so unless I wanna make a day trip(which is possible), that would be hard. but I could sell the 2500k

A lot of people have said NCIX will price match Mircocenter and ship to you. Might want to give it a try - hit the Price Match button! They have priced matched other hardware for me in the past.

i5 2500k is $179 on MC now: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0354589

Have you heard of NCIX price matching Microcenter's cheap processors (like the 2500k & 2600k)? I've heard Microcenter sells them at a loss to get people in the store (hoping they'll buy other components). If that's true, I doubt NCIX would want to pricematch those and take a loss (unless you're buying a lot of other stuff too).
